At Parallax Center, the health and safety of our patients, staff, and community are top priority. We are closely monitoring the coronavirus (Covid-19) situation and would like to inform you of the steps that we are taking as an agency at this time.
More specifically, we are closely following and implementing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the NYS Department of Health (DOH) recommendations and guidelines. As plans develop on the city, state, and federal level, we are prepared to adapt to the changing recommendations and guidelines.
For now, Parallax Center remains open for new and existing patients, utilizing telepractice for clinical services and some medical services:
Continuing Care Clinical Services:
- Our Clinical services are being offered via telepractice. This means, you can access care from the comfort and safety of your home.
- Clinical services include individual, family, and group therapy, and crisis intervention.
Detoxification and Medical Services:
- Our medical services are on a case-by-case basis whether these can occur in person or via telepractice as well and depends on the presenting issue.
- Medical services include detoxification evaluations, detoxification follow up appointments, and follow-up medical appointments.
If you have further questions, please reach out:

For current patients and professionals referring a patient:
We are here to answer your questions, concerns, and walk you through what detoxification and continuing care can look like during this time.
If anything changes, we will swiftly update our website and social media to reflect these changes. As always, we are committed to the health and safety of our community.
